Hi, I’m Zoé.

I grew up in London, which is a wonderful place to be from — but it took a year backpacking through South America to show me how I actually wanted to move through the world. Slowly. Curiously. With enough time in each place to stop feeling like a visitor. That trip changed everything: the way I travel, the way I eat, the way I think about what a good day looks like. I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.

For a while, it was straightforward. Pack a bag, pick a direction, go. Then life did what life does — in the best possible way. I met Leon, we got married, settled in Berlin, and in 2025, we had our daughter Béa. Leon has a full-time job, we have a baby, and the backpack is considerably heavier than it used to be.

But here’s the thing: we’re not ready to stop. If anything, becoming a parent has made me more determined to keep going — because I want Béa to grow up knowing what it feels like to have mud on her boots, to sleep under stars, to stand somewhere extraordinary and understand that the world is vast and generous and worth exploring. I want her to feel what I felt, at the top of a hill or the edge of an ocean, when everything goes quiet and suddenly makes sense.

So we’re figuring it out as we go. Slow travel with a baby, hiking with a carrier, road trips across Europe, and — if we play our cards right — Leon working remotely from somewhere beautiful while Béa naps in the back of a campervan we don’t own yet but are absolutely planning on getting.

Where on Earth is Zoé is where I document all of it. The trips, the gear, the food, the chaos, the sunsets. The honest version of travelling with a baby — what works, what doesn’t, and why we’d do it all again anyway.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
